DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Versace 3328 eyeglasses deliver Italian luxury in a bold rectangular frame designed for men who want their eyewear to make a statement. Built from premium acetate with slim metal temples, these prescription-ready frames combine the structured lines of a classic rectangle with signature Versace details that set them apart from generic options.

The front is full-rim acetate—available in black, transparent grey, havana tortoise, violet, and dark blue—offering the durability and rich color depth acetate is known for. Metal temples feature a rectangular Medusa emblem, Versace's iconic symbol of confidence and luxury, rendered in gold-tone hardware that catches light without overwhelming the clean design. The temple construction balances visual weight beautifully: substantial enough to feel premium in hand, light enough for all-day comfort.

These frames are built for prescription lenses. Available in three lens widths (54mm, 56mm, and 58mm), the VE3328 accommodates a range of face sizes, with the 56mm width being the most versatile for medium to broad features. The 16mm bridge and 150mm temple length provide a secure, stable fit. Reviewers note the frame runs slightly wide, making it an excellent match for those who find standard rectangles too narrow.

The rectangular shape offers clean, structured lines that add definition to round or oval faces. It's a modern take on the classic men's frame—not oversized or trendy, but confident and architectural. The acetate construction means your optician can adjust the fit precisely to your face, and the full-rim design provides maximum lens stability for stronger prescriptions.

Versace eyewear is manufactured under license with attention to material quality and construction detail. The acetate is cellulose-based, offering flexibility and long-term shape retention. Hinges are engineered for smooth operation and durability. These aren't disposable frames—they're designed to last through multiple lens changes and several years of daily wear.

Very Happy With My Order

The glasses look and feel great and everything about the order was fast and professional. My only complaint is that I didn’t buy the anti-reflective lenses and if I would’ve known how reflective they’d be, I would’ve upgraded. But they’re still manageable and everything else was great.

Frame defects

I received 3 frames that were bent. I ordered back in November and just received the 3rd frame and it is bent as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Versace 3328 eyeglasses prescription-ready?

Yes, the Versace VE3328 frames are fully prescription-ready and can accommodate single-vision, progressive, bifocal, and specialty prescription lenses. The full-rim acetate construction provides excellent lens stability, making them suitable for stronger prescriptions. Your optician can customize them with anti-reflective coatings, blue light filtering, or transitions lenses.

What size should I choose for Versace 3328 frames?

The VE3328 is available in three lens widths: 54mm, 56mm, and 58mm, all with a 16mm bridge and 150mm temple length. The 56mm width is the most popular and suits medium to broad face shapes. Reviewers note the frame runs slightly wide, so if you typically wear 52-53mm frames, the 54mm may be your best fit.

What material are Versace 3328 eyeglasses made from?

The front frame is made from premium cellulose acetate, a plant-based plastic known for its rich color depth, flexibility, and durability. The temples are metal with gold-tone accents and feature the rectangular Medusa logo. This acetate-metal combination offers both lightweight comfort and structural stability for long-term wear.

Do Versace 3328 frames come with a warranty?

Yes, authentic Versace eyeglasses include a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The frames come with original Versace packaging, case, and cleaning cloth. Designer Optics is an authorized retailer, ensuring you receive genuine Versace products with full warranty protection.

What face shapes work best with Versace 3328 rectangular frames?

The rectangular shape works best for round, oval, and heart-shaped faces by adding definition and structure. The clean horizontal lines create balance and visual width. If you have a square or angular face, the bold rectangular design can emphasize those features—consider trying the frame on to ensure it complements your face shape.

How do I care for Versace acetate eyeglasses?

Clean your Versace frames with a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner designed for eyewear. Avoid household cleaners that can damage acetate. Store them in the protective case when not in use, always placing them lens-side up to prevent scratches. For adjustments to the fit, nose pads, or hinges, visit a professional optician to avoid damaging the frame.

Versace 3328 vs. Similar Versace Eyeglasses

If you're considering the Versace VE3328, you're likely comparing it to other rectangular acetate frames in Versace's men's collection. Here's how it stacks up against three similar options in our catalog.

VE3328 vs. Versace 3218 Eyeglasses

Both frames offer full-rim acetate construction with Versace's signature Medusa branding, but the VE3328 features metal temples with gold-tone accents, while the 3218 may have different temple styling. The VE3328 is priced at $139.46–$162.97, making it slightly more accessible than the 3218's $146.79–$203.75 range. If you want the rectangular Medusa temple detail specifically, the VE3328 is your frame. If you're open to exploring different Versace rectangular styles, the 3218 offers variety in the same quality tier.

VE3328 vs. Versace 1264 Eyeglasses

The Versace 1264 sits in nearly the same price range ($138.22–$162.97) as the VE3328, making this a direct value comparison. Both are prescription-ready and built to Versace's quality standards. The VE3328's rectangular acetate front with metal temples offers a modern, architectural look, while the 1264 may present a different shape or material combination. Choose the VE3328 if you want bold rectangular lines and visible Medusa hardware; explore the 1264 if you prefer a different aesthetic at the same investment level.

VE3328 vs. Versace 3326U Eyeglasses

The VE3326U is the closest model number to the VE3328, suggesting these frames are from the same design family or release period. Priced at $154.13–$180.06, the 3326U sits in a similar range. Both likely share construction quality and material standards, but the specific design details—temple shape, Medusa placement, or color options—will differ. If you like the VE3328 aesthetic but want to see a closely related alternative, the 3326U is worth comparing side by side.

Our recommendation: The Versace VE3328 offers the best combination of bold rectangular design, iconic Medusa temple detailing, and accessible pricing in Versace's men's acetate collection. It's a confident, architectural frame that works beautifully for medium to broad face shapes and delivers unmistakable Versace style without venturing into oversized or trendy territory.
